We had our first Flashlight Friday of the year in the elementary library, and it was so much fun! 🔦📚
Each week, teachers get to select students they feel have earned a little extra special library time. Students may be chosen for meeting their AR goal for the week, showing great behavior, working hard, being kind, or simply making good choices throughout the week.
Our Flashlight Friday students get to grab a flashlight, find a cozy spot in the library, and enjoy some quiet reading time with the lights turned down. There’s just something extra fun about reading by flashlight! ❤️📖
We even had Mr. Lowe join us for a little while today, which made our very first Flashlight Friday even more special!

6th Graders have been learning to type in Business Foundations class. Today, they are typing the Preamble to the Constitution and learning how to format Microsoft Word.
Kindergarten/1st Grade have really enjoyed Art/Music class.
Pre k 4 year olds experimented with water color painting today! Just a couple of spills, and a lot of fun!

Junior High Softball won the Leflore Tournament consolation bracket! They beat Leflore 8-2 to win it today!
We put these crayons out yesterday to see how long it took them to melt, well at 9 this morning they were melting.
By 12:36 they were completely melted.
They finally melted!!
The 4 year olds have been working on writing their first names! We are doing so good!
This week in preschool we decided to do the melting crayon experiment! In between rain and clouds they started to melt finally!
This week in the 4 year old room we started writing the letter A! We are learning the song and how to identify the big A and little a in words!
