The senior class had a raffle for a $500 HL's gift card and we had the drawing today. The senior class sold 217 tickets total. The winning ticket drawn out belonged to Billie Dawn Briggs! Congratulation! We want to thank everyone that bought tickets and has helped support these student. Money made from this fundraiser goes toward their senior trip.
Mrs. Hahn's 2nd grade class has been so busy this nine weeks! We visited the Sardis Lake Water Authority, thank you for having us, we learned so much about the process behind the faucet! Smokey Bear came to visit. thank you for teaching us Fire Safety! We celebrated Ms. Donnie for National Custodian Day, and thank her for all the work she puts in for us, We appreciate you!! Thank you to Oklahoma Farm Bureau for sending us an interactive bag of Oklahoma knowledge along with a fun book about tops and bottoms! (vegetables) We've learned a magic trick thanks to Mr. Hahn! Mrs. Dennis came and read to us! We painted pumpkins 🎃 and made some fun animals using base ten blocks while learning place value! And that's just to name a few.

Smokey the Bear stopped by to teach Mrs. Holley's kindergarten students about fire safety.

Clayton Public Schools regular board meeting scheduled for October 13, 2025, at 6 pm has been canceled due to lack of a quorum related to sickness.
The meeting will be rescheduled for the following week and notices will be posted tomorrow.

We're proud of our CHS students who attended Traffic Safety Day on October 9 at KTC in Talihina. They joined teens from across the area to learn how to increase teen traffic safety in Oklahoma.










On October 8th, Kindergarten-2nd grades visited the water treatment plant at Sardis Lake Water Authority. Thank you Rayna Noah, Dakoda Manning, Hunter Noah, and Hunter Howze for a wonderful experience.

Middle school built models of a trapeze to test motion & velocity. Collaborating in their groups to hypothesize what's going to happen. Then testing their theory to see if it's accurate.

The CHS Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive, Wednesday, October 8, from 9am to 2 pm. All eligible students, staff, and community members are encouraged to donate and help save lives.
