🧴🪥 Hospitality Closet Supply Drive 🧼🧦
Clayton FFA, BPA, and 4-H are excited to announce a new Hospitality Closet for all Clayton Public Schools students!
✨ What is a Hospitality Closet?
It’s a place where students can access hygiene and self-care items they may not always have at home—things like shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, socks, and more.
We’re kicking off with a Supply Drive Contest!
📅 Contest runs Sept. 23 – Oct. 9
🍕 The class that collects the most items will win a pizza party!
📦 Donation boxes will be placed in classrooms.
Supplies will continue to be accepted throughout the year, but the contest ends Oct. 9.
A HUGE thank you to Lighthouse Cathedral Church for generously donating hygiene items to get this project started. 💙 Your support helps our students thrive in and out of the classroom!

💵🎲 Mrs. Payne’s Math of Finance students went cashless today with a game of Monopoly! Instead of paying with paper money, every transaction had to be completed by writing a check.
Earlier this week, students learned the basics of checks—what they are used for, the different parts of a check, and how to correctly write and deposit one.
During the game, each player wrote checks to pay rent, buy properties, and handle other transactions, while also receiving checks from other players. Every payment was recorded on a ledger sheet, just like completing a real check register.
Hands-on learning = real-world financial skills! 📚✍️💳
