🌷🐰 Springtime Fun at Crain Elementary! 🐣🌷 The students at Crain Elementary got a delightful surprise on Thursday when none other than Peter Cottontail himself made a special visit! 🐇🎉 From Pre-K through 1st grade, our little learners lit up with joy as Peter made his way through the classrooms, spreading cheer and high-fives. The excitement didn’t stop there—students then took part in an egg-citing Easter egg hunt filled with colorful eggs, giggles, and plenty of springtime magic! 🌼🥚✨ A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing staff, parents, and community members who made this special day possible. Your support, time, and love helped create a joyful experience our students will remember for years to come. 💛 #CrainElementary #PeterCottontailVisit #EggHuntFun #SpringtimeSmiles #WeekOfTheYoungChild #ThankYouCrainCommunity

Week of the Young Child - Monday
Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, LIFT Headstart will no longer be providing services to the Clayton area. However, we are excited to announce that Clayton Public Schools will be taking over the 3 and 4-year-old program, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption for our families. The transition means that staff and classrooms will remain the same, and there will be no application process or waitlist required. Additionally, a 1 and 2-year-old daycare program is being considered for implementation by the next school year, catering to children from the Clayton area as well as siblings attending Clayton schools. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please reach out directly to the school for further information and support. We look forward to seeing everyone as we begin this new adventure! -Randall Erwin
