Pre k 4 year olds celebrated Johnny Appleseed day by trying different types of apples! Red delicious and Granny Smith won!

🧠✨ He got it! Our fifth grader Tate was the first to crack this week’s riddle & earned a treat from Mrs Rachel! 🍬 How do you spell candy with only two letters? C and Y! 😆 Way to go, Tate! Thanks to all of our elementary and middle school students who gave it a try. 👏

Tomorrow is Johnny Chapmans (Johnny Appleseed) birthday we celebrated today! 🍎🍏 We made pot hats, colored his picture and had an apple tasting (red delicious, granny smith and honey crisp) We tried our apples with caramel and fruit dip. Then we graphed which apple we like best! Looks like it was a tie!

Thank you to 5th grade teacher Mrs.McEntire for reading to preschool today! We loved it!

Pre K 3 and 4 year old classrooms talked about Kindness and talking Nice to each other this morning. We had 2 apples and we took turns saying nice things to one and unkind things to the other. Then we cut open the apples and looked at the inside. The inside of the apple we talked unkind too was all bruised and had started turning brown. We talked about how we cannot see how someone feels on the inside when you say unkind things to them.

These kiddos have been working hard, reading lots of books, and showing us just how awesome our readers are! 💙📖 Also a huge shoutout to Mrs. Holley's 3rd grade class...every single student earned an award this week! 👏 Keep up the great work—we love watching those reading skills grow! ⭐️🐾

Pre K 3&4 have Library on Thursday mornings. Thank you Ms. Rachel for reading to us, we always enjoy picking out a reading buddy and getting a sucker.

The 4year olds took turns reading the class a book today! They all did so good!

Pre K 3&4 SCIENCE EXPERIMENT Leak Proof Bag.

In the 4 year old class we have started learning that letters make words and learning the difference between a letter, a number and a word! On Thursdays we hide these in the classroom and the kids have to find them and tell us which it is and identify it if possible! They have been doing so good!
