Santa is coming to school on Wednesday, December 10 for Christmas photos with our students!

✅ Order forms/envelopes will be sent home with students soon.
✅ Money & order form due the day of pictures (money/order form goes directly to the photographer)
✅ All K-5th Grade will be able to talk to Santa and have their photo taken.
✅ Perfect for Christmas cards and keepsakes

and AJ Butcher Block, we were able to bless families in our community with
Thanksgiving baskets.

A Heartfelt Thank You for a Wonderful Thanksgiving Lunch. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible cooks who prepared and served a delicious Thanksgiving lunch for our school and community. Thanks to their hard work, talent, and teamwork, more than 600 meals were served. We would also like to give a special thank-you to our Student Council members, who volunteered their time to decorate the space and serve drinks. To all who contributed—thank you for making this Thanksgiving lunch a true success.

Career Orientation class with Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Jeri Dawn will not meet today. The FAFSA and CPR day counted towards your November meeting.

Freshmen students attended the Reality Check event at KTC in Talihina today! They learned valuable lessons about spending money wisely, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions. A great hands-on experience to help them prepare for real-world responsibilities!

Middle school science has been observing bacteria & germs from unwashed hands. We used bread as Petri dishes to grow the germs & bacteria from students unwashed hands. 🦠 🧫

🎉 The Clayton HS Academic Team is headed to the Area Tournament! 🎉 After a tough first loss to Rock Creek, we rallied back with wins over Wetumka, Savanna, and Rock Creek to claim 3rd place at Regionals. Congratulations to Jeadon Baker, Maggie Middleton, Nick Adams, Curt Gray, Bryson Caraway and Caleb Antony!

Event Announcement Reality Check at KTC – Talihina 📅 Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 🕗 Departure: 8:00 AM 🕙 Return: Approximately 10:00 AM 9th grade students will travel to Kiamichi Technology Center in Talihina to participate in the Reality Check event.

Elementary Games scheduled on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. have been moved up to start at 8:30 a.m. that morning.

Clayton Public School will releasing early next Thursday, November 20th, at 1:00 P.M. for thanksgiving holiday.

RE: Cell Phone Policy
Dear Parent or Guardian;

The State of Oklahoma has passed a No-Cell Phone Law which makes it illegal to have a phone at school.
Our board has also adopted a policy to make sure we follow the intent of the law.
Recently, we have been having a problem with students attempting to circumvent the law and keep their phone in their possession.
The school has tried to be very fair in allowing the students to bring their phones to school if they will turn them in the minute they get to school and pick them back up at the end of the day. The problem is that students are trying to hide their phones and are using them during the school day during lunch or breaks.
Therefore, we are going to a zero tolerance stance. The enclosed policy will be adhered to on a strict basis. Please sign and return the form that states that you have received and read the enclosed cell phone policy.
We appreciate your help in addressing this situation so that we are in compliance with state law.
