Thank you Clayton Bulldog Cafeteria Staff for their hard work and dedication to providing us with delicious and varied meal options. Today's homemade desserts in particular were a treat - the Chocolate Glazed Donuts and Mandarin Orange - Pineapple Parfait were a delightful addition to the menu.
Thank you to the cafeteria staff for their creativity and effort in preparing these tasty treats for us to enjoy.

The Kindergartners enjoyed using various instruments this past week as they learned about rhythm and how to hear the beat within different songs to help identify the genre.

Red Ribbon Week is October 28th - October 31st.

Due to the Tuskahoma elementary tournament, the Highschool Boys and Girls Basketball scrimmage at Moyers for Thursday has been cancelled, but will be rescheduled for a later date.

Last Week, 3rd & 4th Grades went on a field trip to the Sardis Lake Water Authority plant to see how the it works.

Employee Spotlight!
Mrs. Hahn is a graduate from Clayton High School and has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. She has 25 years experience teaching kindergarten.
Mrs. Hahn has a love for teaching and puts a lot of effort toward her students! It is an awesome experience visiting her classroom where great teaching and learning never stops! Clayton Public Schools is blessed to have her for an elementary teacher!

Clayton Public Schools is partnering with Albion First Baptist Church to support the Hurricane Helene Relief Effort.
Students and staff can drop donations at the elementary, middle school or highschool office. Last day to bring donations is Oct 24.

Albion First Baptist Church is gathering donations for those affected by the recent hurricane. We are collecting essential items and monetary donations with a goal of filling a semi-trailer to send directly to the affected areas.

The Choctaw Nation Health Services will be giving free flu shots tomorrow (Tuesday, October 8), beginning at 10 am. They will be set up in the high school and are available to anyone.
Congratulations to 5th and 6th grade boys and girls' basketball teams. Both won tonight and will both play tomorrow (Tuesday, October 8). Girls play at 4 pm. Boys will play at 5:00 pm.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 8 is the last day to purchase links for BPA's Chain of Love benefiting Oklahoma Special Olympics. Each is $0.25. See Mrs. Payne or a BPA member to purchase.

Highway 43 Bus Route: Highway 43 past the dam will be closed from 8 am - 4 pm on Tuesday, October 8, Wednesday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 15. The afternoon bus route for Highway 43 may be delayed 30-40 minutes.
5th and 6th grade basketball game today at Tuskahoma. Clayton vs Kinta. Girls start at 4:00. Boys start at 4:50. Bus leaves at 3:30 in front of gym.

The Clayton show team has had a busy week at the Tulsa state fair. We're
sad to see this show season end but these students had a great time
exhibiting livestock and showing off their hard work. Calvin Palmer, Eldon
Palmer, Mazie Nagel, and Emily Peterson exhibited cattle , sheep and swine
this week.

Clayton Exceed Academy students learned the importance of eating smart, and the proper way to use a knife.
