Notice to Former Special Education Students:
Records Pickup Opportunity
In accordance with the Oklahoma State Department of Education Special Education Policies and Procedures, Clayton Public Schools is providing the opportunity for former students who received special education services to obtain their records before they are scheduled for destruction.
If you graduated, exited, or aged out of special education services during your or before the 2020-2021 school year, you may pick up your records. These records may be useful for future educational, vocational, or personal purposes.
All records must be called for by May 14,2026. After this date records will be permanently destroyed.

A valid photo ID is required for pickup. Records can only be released to the former student or their legal guardian unless written consent is provided.

K & 8th Grade Graduations will be on May 12, @6PM in the Gym. Senior graduation will be on May 16, @10 AM in the Gym.

Scholarship Announcement The Vaughn Pugh Memorial Scholarship is now available for Ag students. Applications can be picked up in the school office. Completed applications can be returned to the high school office. The deadline to apply is May 7, 2026.

PROM 2026 - a few pictures until the professional ones are in. Many thanks to all who helped: Dr. Gore, Mrs. McDaniel, Mr. Singleterry, Teresa Dunham, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis, students Bonnie, Bryson, and Billy.

Our sophomores spent some time planting tomatillo, sunflower and green bean seeds.
It was a fun, hands on way to learn about how plants grow. The students are already excited to see which ones sprout first!

The girls had such a fun and memorable field trip getting their hair done and enjoying manicures! It was a great day filled with smiles, confidence, and a little pampering. A huge shoutout to cosmetology student Jaden Vega for organizing such a special experience for our students—we truly appreciate the time and effort that went into making it happen. All of the cosmetology students were incredibly kind, patient, and talented while working with our group. Thank you to KTC Atoka for welcoming us and helping create such a positive and uplifting day for our girls! -Skyla Pendley

Kindergarten has been busy Reading! They are excited to share how many books they have read.

1st Grade has met their goal of reading over 800 Books!

Kindergarten STEM Building Challenge

8th grade girls will be attending a tea luncheon in Antlers, OK on Monday, April 27. We will leave the school at 9:30 a.m. and return around 1:30 p.m. Girls, please dress in your Sunday best.

Freshman Show and Tell Day!
Our freshman science class had a fun Show and Tell day! Students had so much
fun sharing stories about their pets. We had quite a variety- dogs, a turtle,
a bunny and even a chicken.
Wyatt entertained everyone by playing his guitar and Nick solved a Rubik’s cube
in just 18 seconds- so impressive!
So thankful for the moms and grandmas who came out to support the
kids.

Reminder to Seniors: The final Career Orientation/Work Study meeting will be held tomorrow, April 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM in Mrs. Davis' room. Any seniors who still need to complete their ICAP may attend this meeting. All ICAPs must be completed by May 8th, as this is a graduation requirement. Please see Mrs. Jeri Dawn or Mrs. Davis for assistance.
