With each passing day we are getting a little closer to spring and the thought of getting outside to enjoy the milder weather. I'm looking forward to that, along with all the staff and students.
It looks like we are going to make it through flu season without to much sickness. Last week was the hardest for us because of teacher sickness and trying to find substitutes so that all the classes could be covered.
Congratulations to Mr. Haddox and the boys basketball team for their victory in the District Tournament finals. They will move on to Regionals in the winners bracket playing Thursday at Okay and then Friday and Saturday at Checotah. Best of luck to Mr. Haddox and the boys.
Congratulations to Mr. Muse and the girls basketball team on their season. Although they didn't get out of the District Tournament they worked hard and always represented our school in a positive way. We have several returning starters and a good foundation of players returning for next season.
